Perma frost?

Can someone please explain what perma frost is? I did not know it was a strain. Does anyone have any information on this?

here you go hope this helps:-PIn geology, permafrost, cryotic soil or permafrost soil is soil at or below the freezing point of water (0 °C or 32 °F) for two or more years. Ice is not always present, as may be in the case of nonporous bedrock, but it frequently occurs and it may be in amounts exceeding the potential hydraulic saturation of the ground material. Most permafrost is located in highlatitudes (i.e. land close to the North and South poles), but alpine permafrost may exist at high altitudes in much lower latitudes. Permafrost accounts for 0.022% of total water and exists in 24% of exposed land in the Northern Hemisphere.

Map showing extent and types of permafrost in the Northern Hemisphere

The extent of permafrost can vary as the climate changes. Today, a considerable area of the Arctic is covered by permafrost (including discontinuous permafrost). Overlying permafrost is a thin active layer that seasonally thaws during the summer. Plant life can be supported only within the active layer since growth can occur only in soil that is fully thawed for some part of the year. Thickness of the active layer varies by year and location, but is typically 0.6–4 m (2.0–13 ft) thick. In areas of continuous permafrost and harsh winters the depth of the permafrost can be as much as 1,493 m (4,898 ft) in the northern Lena and Yana River basins in Siberia. Permafrost can also store carbon, both as peat and as methane. The most recent work investigating the permafrost carbon pool size estimates that 1400-1700 Gt of carbon is stored in permafrost soils worldwide. [SUP][1][/SUP]. This large carbon pool represents more carbon than currently exists in all living things and twice as much carbon as exists in the atmosphere.

Ive grown permafrost and it was one of favorite strains of all times the buds where so crystallized that when in a bag there would be like a pile of crystals on the bottom of the bag super good strain.

lmfao. We are on different pages again! Let's see. You like doobs or bowls? (Both doesn't count as answer.)

My response disappeared. That was weird.
I thought is was a hash or kief or some shit. I didn't know it was a strain. I have some on it's way from the dispensary in Marquette.
I said I wouldn't take another clone after getting mites from one, I'll probably love this shit and start looking for clones. lol.
Thanks for the info.

a descendant of Northern Lights. It's an superb medicine that is a Sativa-dominant hybrid, a wonderful cross that is excellent as a daytime medicine

Its Not A Purple It Has Orange Hairs Nice Green Color With TONS Of Cystals .

I see. The picture wasn't posted. Like I said, I thought it was hash at first. lol.
I knew if I asked on here, I would find out long before she got back. It took about 5 minutes. lol

If you have the patience for a 14 week flowering Sativa, I highly recommend Kali Mist. It's probably the best stuff I've ever smoked!

I've waited a few hours now for that Perma Frost, that counts as patience. lol. I have looked at that, but I sure didn't know it was 14 weeks. Is that two weeks of dark like some do with the white widow?

I've never done the dark cycle personally. My KM's are vegged for about 4 weeks, and then given a full 14 weeks of 12/12. Hobbes has done a couple really nice smoke reports on his Kali Mist if you want to check it out. If memory serves me correct, I think he even let his go to about 16 weeks. It's well worth the wait, imo.

Well, this is some of the best looking nugs from the Marquette dispensary.
My camera doesn't do it justice. I am going to buy a digital microscopre soon.
