Personal Grower (3-5 plants) in BC interior...risky?

I just purchased a Condo in a large city in the interior of BC (Canada) (larger than 50,000 ppl). The condo is in a very upscale neighborhood and backs onto a golf course. This is my first grow as I have rented in the past, my question is how risky is it to grow a few plants (3-5) for mostly personal use?

outside or inside your apt? i wouldn grow outside on a balcony or anything in a huge complex.

Inside and its about 40 units.

if you can grow in the closet obv. but if you have multiple closets or storage rooms, pick one that has a door knob and replace w. a door knob that has a lock. that way you dont have to worry about the employees of your complex.

Yes its being put into a locking closet.

the easiest and cheapest thing to do is buy a light fixture from a hardware store in your area. buy one that is bowl shaped, these are usually for outdoor stuff but you're using them to focus the light on ur plant. i bought one for super cheap, under 10bucks. then buy a 6500K CFL (spiral fluoro), the largest wattage you can get. make sure the light is WHITE, not YELLOW. then buy a cheapy oscillating fan. start off plant/s in a small party cup. wait till about 8" or so and transfer into something bigger later. this is all you need to get going. total costs is below $50 for everything if you're smart.

look people have done it in a lot more risky places

is there risk? of course, but the more you prep the better chances you have

just make sure that you dont draw a lot of attention by doing anything stupid like having the smell leak out

look up the rubbermaid tub grow it is good for personal grows ive seen good results(rubbermaid tub grow)

if you can smoke in there and get away then you can grow in there just have a lot of little plug in wall air fresheners

Haha people smoke at the bus stops here, in movie theaters even outside of starbucks and nothing happens. Now I just gotta decide how I wanna grow it
