Personal misting system

I have never grown hydro or aeroponically, and I was wondering if a personal misting system would work for watering in an aeroponic garden, a very small one.

damn, I thought I'd get at least one answer on this. good, bad, don't know, something... guess I might just have to try it and see.

if you mean praying your plants with a spray bottel i do it an my plants grow fine

well I thought of that, but I was actually talking about more like this COOL PATIO 6 NOZZLE MISTING SYSTEM or TWIST & MIST

I think I am gonna try it. the first one is only $25 so that's not too bad.

What type of pump would you use for that?

just buy a water fogger!! havent used one myself but i haveseen people swear by them!! you should give it a try!!

littlefoot, it doesn't use a pump that's why I was wanting to use it, it just connects to a hose or faucet

kearners, I've never heard of a water fogger, I'll google it I guess

hey, Earl, I looked all through the topic that you linked, awesome grow btw!! anyways I saw your sprayer, but this is VERY new to me and I'm a little confused. Your setup is great, but I can't afford something like that. I was just hoping to do something very simple and inexpensive. I have the rubber tub w/ lid, but I was wanting to use just one, I am also pretty limited on space. Maybe the size of a closet or so. Any suggestions on how to keep it to just one container, I plan on putting the plants in the lid, no pvc. I've never seriously tried to grow before, but I am growing very tired of the outrageous amt of $ it takes to support my habit, LOL!!
Around here the prices just keep going up! Hypothetically of course

anyways I do have some started in dirt if anyone cares about that

well, that does look a bit more simple, how big of a pump do you use, and can I find those nozzles at the hardware store, or did you get them special somewhere? Oh and what kind of nutes do you use? Thanks a lot!! That's just about the size grow I'm lookin to do, gotta keep it pretty small, I'm a renter, in a very small town, so that looks about right. How much you harvest from that? Thanks!

thanks for your interest, and I'm sure you can offer me some tips. As a matter of fact I have a question for you, in anticipation of you checking it out, I have these 4 sprouts in a fairly small container, when will it be okay or too late to move them?
