Pete cubes in ebb n gro.

Just got some new clones from a buddy of mine who uses dirt.

Was wondering it someone that has tried this before could give me some insight.

I'm wondering if it would be cool to just throw the clones, in the pete cubes into the hydroton. This is a 12 pot ebb n gro system. Just curious if the pete cube medium being around the roots will stay wet and cause any sort of weird root rot problems.

If so, it wouldn't be an issue to cut the pete cubes off the clones roots, and give them a good washing before throwing the, into the hydroton.

Any information is helpful.

dont cut them at all you will damage roots. how big are the cubes? if theyr small they wont be trouble, if theyr big, just make sure theyr not too wet all the time

like 1" pete cubes.

i just worry about them staying wet all the time when im flooding every 4 hours like i normally do in hydroton. i usually just have the clones planted directly into the hydroton, but these clones are coming from a buddy.
