Cold temps will slow down P uptake. Don't let it get that cold. And I'd just use plain water for awhile.

Good luck.

I use tap water in soil and have for years without adjusting pH. I don't use it without adjusting pH for soiless or hydro but for soil it hasn't posed any issues and it's over 7.0 pH.

Here's how my tap water pH is adjusted.

"Portland's water is currently treated to be at a pH of 8.2. The pH of Portland's water can vary by a small amount in the distribution system, but it generally ranges from about 7.4 to 8.4, with a median value of 7.8 to 8.1."

So quick update, i had 2 plants in the beginning of this thread which is the one we examined and talked bout and then theres well was the seedling its currently month old still no sighns of sex in the beginning she was a very slow grower i think it was due to the tip of the tap root during germination was cut by me by mistake guess i grabbed the raproot without noticing idk i seen split a bit . First 2 weeks was super slow i honestly thought it was genetics but then again what happened with the tap root so now its doing good its exploded with growth i topped branches started sprouting and now shes short no problems at all she very healthy and just been using tap water on her she hasnt displayed any symptoms like my other will post her up just did a repot its bagseed greasemonkey shes doing great shes growing rapidly how she should and it amazes me all the time how fast it can regrow and rebush a bigger bush after a trim its been 3 days since top and im bout to water i just transplanted, ima also do some lsting any opinion guys or advice thanks i kinda feel like the leafs are to green but maybe thats just me she hasnt showed any leaf tip burn anyways here ya go OG's
