if its the one that i have from api, the ph down is fine, you just need more than a few drops (not really sure how many yet). the ph test kits only goes as low as 6.0. i would recommend u get sumtin that goes lower, but if u cant (like me)just get it as yellow as itll go and then add a couple more drops.sry no one answered this yet, i know how it sux wen no one does.i got u tho

i think it works fine i jut try to get it yellow in the range chart

When you get a chance, you may want to order this one. It's range is like 4.0 to 8.0. I have this one and it's easy to use. I'm sure that what you have will work for now.
