Ph Fluctuation...why so quick?

Greetings all,

I'm using General Hydro PH down to get my 7.0 well water into the high fives/low sixes.

The Ph meter reads that I'm doing it right:

Reads 5.9 or so.... about 3 capfuls per gallon every fourth day...

25 ounces of water per 5 gallon planter)

The next say the meter reads 7.0 again.

What the ??? She's stalking and branching real strong- does that mean she's absorbing all the phos?

in hydro? r u saying that you're using 25oz of solution in a hydro system? If so, that's your problem. Strive for 5 gallons of nutrient solution per full grown plant in most systems. Undersized reservoirs are difficult to maintain.

yea dude they are eating the nutes. i use a hydro ebb and flow as my nursery. it uses 15 gallons in a 50 gallon reservoir, and the feed tray holds about 5. i only have about 2 dozen sprout and clones and i hafta re feed and ph at least once a week

Soil my friends...not Hydro.
