ph help

the ph of my soil is at 8? is it ok to adjust the ph with a water vinegar solution? if so what should the ph of my vinegar/water solution be? i dont have the cash right now to get a ph down solution any other cheap alternatives welcome

plain purified water until it comes down to around 6.5

thank you pinkpengin... im also starting to treat the plants with foxfarms nutrients. does that make a differnce? everybodys opinion welcome

test the ph of the solution your giving it ( water mixed with foxfarm nutes )
and test your run off
and to test the ph of your soil get some water ( ph 7 ) and dig a little hole and pour water in it till its a muddy puddle and test that

the f&f nutes will drop the ph a good amount so make sure you adjust it to 6.5-6.7 before you feed

is adjusting the ph of the water with baking soda ok?
