Ph in dwc

I had crazy ph swings with 400 ppms. Upped it to 700 to 800 and now it’s stable and ppms aren’t dropping as fast either. So I upped it to 800 today. We will see. They are in early bloom. Anybody have similar experience? Also shouldn’t I keep increasing ppms til ppms stay stable also? My first dwc. Still in a 5 gallon tote.

I found in my buckets if the ppm is off it will swing.. I would just try not to go too high.. i don't don't worry bout a little swing, so unless it's bad i just leave it personally..

Transition and early bloom are a crazy thing.
I recently flipped a plant at 700ppm and it's been increased up to 1200 and still drops daily.
And you will have more ph swing at a lower ppm because you have less ph buffer. This is especially bad with ro water.

Cool thanks for the input. Let's me know that I am on the right track in learning this growing method. It is my first time.

I flipped 11 days ago. I also did major defoliation and top yesterday to slow stretch. Was wondering if that will affect the plants uptake of nutes and if I should keep them the same.20200323_183739.jpg

The plant and its genetics will determine how much it wants to eat for the most part. The plant I mentioned before is the smallest plant I've flipped by at least 3 weeks of veg and wanted the same ppm her sisters wanted that were probably 20x the size.

Ok good it's easier to keep them at the same ppms. Might even upp it a bit and see. Afghan kush....suppose to like strong nutes???
