PH issue

This is my first grow and I have a question about the PH. I am in week six from starting some seeds and I just checked the PH and it is 8.0. I had one brown spot on 4 plants. They all look very healthy and are growing maybe a little bit slow. I checked my water from my sink which is well water and it’s 6.0. This leads me to believe that I’m adding too many nutrients which I’m using miracle grow organic‘s 11-3-8. Iused miracle grow organic potting soil. Any insight is appreciated

At week 6 you definitely shouldnt be giving them a high nitrogen nutrient like that. They are likely very overfed at this point. Pictures?

When they start flowering, top dress with something like this. You want a low first number and high second and third numbers.

If you're going by that cheap meter for pH don't. Those are very inaccurate. I'd throw that thing in the trash. I doubt your pH is 8. If it was those plants would be looking like crap. They look fine. Keep doing what you're doing and ignore what that meter shows your pH at.
