Ph issues in soil

I KNOW THIS HAS BEEN DISCUSSED BEFORE .I'm a newbie,not real sharp with computers either,anyway,I need to lower PH in soil. tried distilled vinegar didn't seem to help.Got any advice ?

My solution would be to get a PH kit, but i guess there are home remedies for it.

flush it with properly ph'd water.
