I did my first grow and didn’t ph and it caused a lot of problems. Phd the second round and I see why you should check. My plants were happier and healthier and I got a better weight. I’m pretty confused by the post. You didn’t give any info at all. All you did was say hey guys your all dumb and I am so smart lol show us some plants or something this thread is boring and no one is learning anything.

His plants are probably kept in a top secret location. Only those with 2 degrees are allowed to lay eyes on it

I use em1 in my water.. it has a pH of 3.5

Are you saying that my 18gal of soil is able to buffer that on it's own, without the use of dolomite lime or oyster shell powder?

So I have real experience. And I have published studies about interactions within water. Actual suspended medium in water.

Aside from Hydrowannabe who appears to comprehend this I still don’t have any sound data to refute.

We can discuss medium as well. But I’d expect the soil growers to comment first. Lockout is actually pretty hard to achieve in soil.

The buffer almost prevents it unless you’re adding nutrients the capacity cannot buffer. I have to dumb down the translation somewhere. I can provide the chemical interaction but that’s useless; no one has brought that up.

And I’m not bragging here. But you have autos and photos in those picture. The photos all are over watered due to transplant. But their growth at 1.5 month is “okay”. CB9F3F6B-188D-4B4F-B5A5-0464076DA098.jpeg

Edit: ignore the 1 week old autos

It's been talked to death in the grasscity notill thread, facebook pfa group and the organic section here but if you have new ground breaking data then by all means.

Call ye call ye

All thee who pH their soil do tell me why, so I can tell you why you’re wrong. Challenge accepted ?

I feel like too many growers fuck up their pH.

I have two degrees that focus in this region. I’d love to debate it.

Let’s go. Water pH and crop physiology
I never once Ph . I find it useless unless your water is fucked up. Just use good soil and clean water and you’ll be fine. Having said that it might matter more for strictly indoor plants. I have mine outside and then move to grow lights after the sun passes.

So lets say I was growing outdoors in buckets with coco. Because the plant is outdoors that means it instantly changes the need for a lower ph to not having to ph at all? I’m still very confused @JCGreen81. I understand you started off talking about crop plants so I’ll take that to mean your growing outdoors and not indoors. Because indoors, coco, dwc and even in soil unless your using stuff that’s organic and has these buffers like you said your gonna need to ph. You yourself have not proven YOUR position. All you said is let me dumb down this one sentence that didn’t even explain anything to begin with lol. Start explaining or I’m just gonna start laughing at you with your no plants.
