ph levels and ec levels...

hi there a question to hopefully some1 that may have my answer,,, anyway my ph levels are fine..6.4 ish... does this mean my ec levels should be all good ?? and what should the ec levels be.. do they go up and down as the grow grows??? anyway if any1 has the answer plz ..

2 different readings, so no just because your ph is all good does not mean ec is all good.

Time to read more.

You in hydro? If so ph is too high, and I'm not a soil guy but if you are I believe 7ph is the goal.

EC is the strength of your water not the ph of it.the more nutrients u add to your water the higher the ec will be.if your plants are healthy and taking in the nutrients from your water then the ec will drop becuase your plant is leeching them from the water.how ever if your ec levels in your water start to rise this is indicating that your plants are only drinking water and therefore making your nutrient solution stronger.

you need different EC/tds levels for different growth stages
basically, in my book it's EC 0.2 max for seedlings, 0.5 for early veg, 1.5 late veg till 1.8 max in flowering. but it varies greatly between strains and growers. if you grow in soil, don't worry about EC.
