I would get it down below 6.0 at the bare minimum and monitor it closely for a spell.

What type of ph down are you using?

Ionic ph down ,will it balance it's self out or do you need to keep add the solution
and when do you start add nutes (canna aqua a+b ,rhiz, regen root)
Cheers for the reply

I use GH PH Down and have never had it go back up more than a point after several days. I have not used Ionic before. I am using canna coco a&b. You mix all the nutes, then ph at the last step?

Come on guys. Did anybody read the post? PH affects nutrient uptake via the roots, with no nutes there is no need to adjust pH and the pH will not stabilize without the nutes. Plain water= no pH adjustment.

Hi superstoner1 so you would recommend using nutes now ,at what strength
1/4 strength ?

That an not even close to what I was saying, I was addressing your post question about pH. I was saying there is no need to adjust pH in just water because pH is for nute uptake not water uptake. I have no idea how your plants look but for seedlings I wait until the cotyelon leafs are almost used up then start at around 250-350 ppm.
