pH problem!

Alright so last night I flushed out the reservoir and did the pH before I added the sensibloom A+B. I got the pH at 5.7 and then added the nutes. This morning I checked the pH and its at 3.34.... This is very frustrating.

i haven't read the entire thread, what do the roots look like? drops like this can be due to algae.
And just in case you forgot...Green Bay Sucks!.....Go purple people eaters...lol

Wise guy ehhh? haha we can talk about football later but the roots dont protrude through the bottom of my buckets more than 2 inches. The reservoirs are very clean. There might be a little algae around where the buckets lay but not very much.

make a root guard out of something, black plastic sheeting, a dark piece of plastic, circle in the center for the stem and covers the rest of the medium. very simple fix if that's it, algae can't live in the dark.

I a little confused. Are you talking about putting the plastic sheeting on top up the buckets or below them under the roots?

Here is a couple pictures of my problem. It seems the plants dont really appreciate the 3.3pH... 2 nights ago I drained the water and set the pH to 5.7 and then added the nutes witch made the pH drop to 3.3... the tap water without pH down is about 7.4. Do you think I should not add any pH adjusters until a good hour or 2 after I add the nutes or even check the pH?

Any ideas what to do to make my girls healthier? Appreciate the input

i see you didn't try to cover the rockwool with root guards if nothing else cover it with hydroton,,light on your rockwool will cause algae and your ph problems.

Havent got to that yet. You think its algae thats messing with my pH? Cause when I was using sensigrow A+B I was having no pH adjusting problems. I just switched to sensibloom last week.

i do think it's algae after see the rockwool not covered up. If you cover it it might 3 days for it to die,, that's why i asked what the roots looked like , i bet they are slimy ?

Check your pump. There may be organic matter building up within it causing ph issues. Even though its flood and drain a certain amount of old root matter and such find its way into pumps making you want to pull your hair out.

Added some pH up. Does anyone else get a weird chemical reaction from it like this?

The meter runs at 7.3 at the top of the water and 3.3 at the bottom... This is driving me crazy.

i dont understand how everyones solution is clear.. . with all the nutes in my iish.. its black -_- like are you ppl only using 1-2 nutes?
