Ph problems

I know I have two other threads open but I'd rather consolidate the two into this one because I think it's a common problem of ph problems.

So my plants have weird leave curling and cupping etc. I'm assuming it's Ph. According to the general hydroponics green testing solution my water has been in the 6 area.. however I just ran some runoff water and it was showing it being very acidic in the 5 range. Im usuing ffof soil. So my question is should I start watering it with alkaline water. Is there any brand of mainstream water I can use in the meantime to stabilize the problem until I get a more reliable digital ph meter?

Thanks

So then what causes the cupping wavy leaves.. humidity? My leaves look fine color wise
Cupping can be a few different causes. Can you post a pic? What are your temps? Do you exhaust room? Is there a fan blowing directly on them.

I'm just usuing fluorescent light. Temps are 65-77 .. yes a fan is blowing on them but just a breeze coming across them.

Here's s pic of the weird leaf growth after I had just topped them

They look fine to me. They should grow out of that.

Ok thanks just want to make sure everything is going alright. As I don't remember seeing leaves like that from my last grow (first grow)
