Y does the ph in my res go from 5.8 to 6.2 or 3 in two days? Using hydroton as medium...room temps 75 - 76 lights on and 79-73 lights off. Still in veg. Water temp 69 to 72

My guess: outgassing from water hardness reacting with the monophosphate and liberating carbonic acid. cn

you need to compare ppm readings, if ppm drops ph should rise, if ppm rises ph will drop. try setting ph at 5.5 and let it creep, veg likes a little lower ph.

I find some additives fuck around with ph, ie cannazyme. Try a ph buffered nute range.
