ph rises back to 7 minutes after adjusting

Hello, first time grower here, I noticed problems with my ph rising bach up to 7 around 20 minutes or so after I lower it. I have a 2 plant DWC system, I feed once per week and my feeding routine is as follows

-remove plant from bucket
-dump out old water
-rinse out bucket with hot water
-add new water
-add nutrients directly to bucket and stir
-adjust ppm
-adjust ph

and that's it, however, this week(plants are on week 5 of flower), I noticed what appears to be a calcium deficiency and when I checked my ph I noticed it was at a high 7 so I adjusted it back down to 5.8 but when I checked again around 20 mins later, it had gone back up to 7 for both plants. Ppm was also sitting at around 1900. so I went through the process again only for the same thing to happen. any help would be greatly appreciated also bear in mind, i'm about as new to this as it gets so please be kind lol. Happy growing!

I find some times it takes a couple bumps to bring it down. It depends on what your calcium carbonate level is in your tap water the holding power of the ph. I always fill my buckets (2 sets) so i leave mine 3 days before putting nutes let bubbler run a few hours then check ph adjust down then put plant in check about 2 hours later adjust again down check next day adjust down then it stabilizes.

that's good to know, i'll keep adjusting. Also do you know if there's a way to mix nutrients where i'd maintain a good ppm without wasting nutes?
I use tap water and on it's own, it sits at around 400 ppm 7.5ph. everytime I mix my nutrients, I end up having to dump a bunch because the ppm is too high. The attached file shows my feed schedule, i'm currently on flower week 5

I never have worried about ppm i just mix 1/2 of what flora series recommends and change my buckets when i notice the ph dropping daily or if ive added 3 gallons of top up water usually 5-7 days depending on plant size. I grow good quantitys of premium bud per plant i think alot of growing is just make sure ur ph is good and they got nutes tbh.

So you cut the recommended dosing from there grow chart in half?

Ya i never run full strength. Their ml/gallon is way to high you will just end up over ferting if you do. This goes for everything from weed to lettuce. Alot of times on say early transition for example i run 7.5ml of each grow, micro and bloom for 4 gallons of water for the first week or also early veg and flower i run 1/3 the ratio then bump up to 1/2 ratio. Everyone i know who run dwc in rl does the exact same thing.

What are you using as pH down? Phosphoric acid? I've seen citric acid and phosphoric listed in the same product. Only citric acid in organic pH down.

Only phosphoric acid is stable enough for hydroponics. Cheers!
