pH rising from airstone

Cannot seem to find any posts on this issue , the ones I do find do not seem to have a solution.

I am running a waterfarm which has a 4 gallon res with an air stone along with a air lift top fed spraying system.

I let my water stand for 48 hours then adjust pH down to approx 5.5 - 5.7 I then add this to the WF - after a day the pH rises to 6.5 - 7 (no plants in the system, no clay pebbles etc) just a clean system. The bucket I mixed the nutrients in has not changed in pH at all and remains where I left it.

I know a steady pH drift is normal - temps, time of day, plant age , nutrient strength, nutrient uptake , EC etc - I also know pH drift starts to drift slower in later stages when the plant is matured and nutrient levels have increased.

I understand that airstones cause co2 to be removed from the water (probably a more technical term) which then causes a rise in pH. Just curious if anyone figured a way to control this without daily drops of pH down - or is this a common problem with bubblers?

:o im sure i get the same ph after a weeks of bubbling. Plus its a 5 inch circular stone. Ill check again soon, been lazy day 15th atm

Usually air stones cause the pH to drop. Carbonic acid.. The rise makes me wonder if the solution pH was stable without air stones.

I found this via google lol:

Aeration will not in itself cause high pH. Tap water often has excess CO2 in it that lowers the pH, aeration speeds up the process in which CO2 leaves the water and helps raise the pH to where it actually is. If your tank water has stayed at a consistent pH for a few days, aeration will not change the pH of your water.

@mr_unknown20191 i use lemon. Enough to bring it down around 7.5-7.8, under 8 fosh-ow. Which is not a lot of it. Plants just going all in with the microbes in the soil providing them care and tender. Im only the coach. Of the microbes lol i been staged. Im a staged microbe coach for super tasty organic weed.

Is there anyone really that hasnt tasted a full quality organic bud? A bit drunk see ya
