Skulljam: they're right, 5.8 is optimum, but what's your reservoir temperature and ppm's. What kind of water are you using and which nutes? Are you pumping air in? HSA

for young plants a ph of 5.4-5.6 will allow them to more easily uptake the proper elements needed at thatvstage.
