Take a guess which is which lol.

When I dont pH my water going into soil this is the result. I'm sure they will both grow up just fine but yea.

So many people keep trying to tell my I don't need to pH. When I don't this is the type of shit that happens.

Just thought I'd share.

Nice to see someone actually doing some own trial and error. This is the proper way to determine what actually works for you. Right one is the untreated one.

Your own knowledge through experience beats everything else and understanding why said treatment works. Cheers! :clap:

Just to be the devil's advocate, soil adjusts PH through the humates and microbiome...you don't have a developed microbiome yet in a small cup. I agree with you, I think seedlings should be fed ph'd water in soil...but what is "soil?" I don't consider potting soil to be soil, it's more like coco or promix with a few things added in-it's mostly just "forest products" aka tree bark and ground up wood chips with some sphagnum thrown in. It takes time to develop the microbiome that helps adjust the PH at the root level.

The only difference is simply pH vs non. But yes you are correct this is 2 beans popped. Still extremely early. So we will see. I'm definitely not going to continue non pH if that plant continues to show issues though. So this is not a scientific study. Because I'm not going to see it through. Nor am I a scientist.

In fact I would venture to guess maybe .00001% are scientists here. So rarely does anyone have a "scientific" study here tbh.

Again just showing what I'm seeing.

Hmm. That's a good point. I don't care about the eyes from the normal community however I surely dont want to mislead any newbie either.

Il continue on through the up pot to 1 gallons until I transplant to the 3 gallon bags.

Il also ammend the original post to explain nothing here is written in stone as this is only me being me.

You have pictures of perfect seedlings?

The only thing mine might need is a small dose of ferts and not to let the soil dry to the point the environment twists leaves.

Take a couple years, producing perfect starts would mean you can now get a job in some high tech agriculture business, your not that good yet.

I can make seedlings like yours in perfect pH soil. Soil is easy, hard to get perfect, that's the part about needing patience just to work with one soil and one fertilizer till you start cracking the tiny details.

Sorry to say but you need the fine details now, it will take a while to get nutritional needs perfect.

If you didn't use this place or grow this plant you wouldn't be doing most of this crap and have got the environment, watering and fertilizer spot on a lot quicker.

Most of you aren't worth listening to till you have proof you are at a good enough level, making pictures of flowering plants is easy, do some seedling porn and I'll know you are at least able to grow not just stumble by and finally get it right at the end.
