Hello rollitup….
I have been keeping other grow logs on 1 or 2 other sites, but after a lot of lurking here, it seems that this is definitely one of the sites that I would like to become an active member of. The knowledge base here is clearly immense and I hope that some of you will pull up a seat and watch me finish off my first real grow. I am going to give some details about what is going on and then I am going to post some pics from throughout the past 8-10 weeks or so. I hope you all enjoy looking as much as I have enjoyed the process.
****************************
I started with 5 girls but sadly the blubonic turned out to be a male. However, I was left with a Cin Diesel, a Hashberry, and 2 Strawberry Coughs.
I am growing organic soil in a 2’ x 3’ x 5.5’ box, 400 Watt air-cooled HPS, passive intake with a very strong exhaust fan and temps are running around 68 @ night and 70 (lower branches) / 85-87 at the canopy. Also, humidity has been sitting right around 40-50% since flowering started. pH has been pretty cosistant around 6.5 or so and for nutes I am using foxfarm.
Also, I just leeched the soil 2 days ago to deal with a potential salt buildup situation.
-Lastly, I am 38 days into flowering and I am planning on letting 2 of them go for 8 weeks and the coughs for 9 weeks.
**Sorry about all the info, but I wanted to get as much info across so some of you experts can chime in with any advice or comments. If I left something out, please let me know and I will give you more info.
Anyway, on to the pics…
Here was the box being built:
Here was once I got some girls and was picking which were best.
Here were the girls on day 2 of 12/12
Strawberry Cough 1
Strawberry Cough 2
Diesel
Hashberry
And here are some shots from the past week or so…
-------------------------
And here is my post from 2 days ago, from now on things will be done in real time.
Things are looking a little droopy from the leaching yesterday but I think it will be for the best.
First up is the diesel. There are 3 fan leaves that have gotten yellow. They are still firmly attached to the plant so I figure not to cut them. I could use the extra space for other nugs thou so if it wont hurt the plant, could I cut em off?
The next 2 are the hashberry
And here are the coughs, still in the box
