Phing question

Is using old water not good to use?
Does sitting water change ph over time?
Contaminants in sprayers?

ive never paid much attention to phing in the past (not that it hasnt been an issue) so i figured id request help from the community.

When phing water always use it right away. Yes sitting water will fluctuate over time depending on the makeup of the water ppms it can increase or decrease.

I have a well and get my water tested every few years. One of the tests of course is for a ph value which shows my water to be alkaline. Another number on the test is for alkalinity which unbeknownst to me was what it takes to return my water to neutral and keep it there. I have a high alkalinity number so my water wants to revert back to its original ph number after i treat it. My well water ph is 9.4. I can bring it down to 7 with vinegar but after sitting all night it's back in the nine range. I agree that treated water is unstable and if adjusted should be used right away.
