It appears that many of the new smartphones are not very secure. I am not talking about the voicemail hacking. That's almost like social engineering. I am talking about apps that you put on your phone that wind up doing naughty things. Operating systems like Android probably have lots of security holes. Just saw a piece on that and it appears that it is getting rampant.
I don't have a phone like that, yet. I have a Palm 755p. Been on a Palm for years.

Unfortunately as a society we take security for granted and leave ourselves open to a lot of shit.
