I have a question. I have a 27 gallon tank with about 23 gallons of water in it. I have been batteling root rot and some greyish slimyish shit. So I have h202 3% and physan 20. SO I put like 3 table spoons of the physan 20 in the water and now all i have is lots of foam.so much foam that you cant even see the bubbles from my 3 12 inch airstones. I remove all the foam and then 30 min later its right back. so my roots are covered in this foam. is this normal? did I over dose? what is the right dosage? are my plants in danger?

From what I have seen that physan 20 really foams up the reservoir, it is supposed to be some amazing stuff. My Dutch Master Zone bubbles up a little, but not like I have seen pics of the physan20. I have seen inches of the 'foam' it makes. Sorry, not too much help

I can't find any information on using Physan 20 in the nutrient reservoir. Is it OK to use it during the normal growing cycle? I made a mistake and introduced some rot into my system and was wonder if I could put this in for a few watering cycles before changing my nutrients? I'm running an ebb and flow system. If it's alright to do this, what concentration do you use? Can you put it in with the rest of your nutrients or should you use fresh water?

StupidLiz- don't be scared of the PHYZAN20. I use 2 tbsp per 25 gal rez when I get slime with no issues at all. H2O2 is equally dangerous, if not more. The PHYZAN20 is a bit soapy and will foam up. The more agitation with bubbles, the more foam. It will subside after a day or two. What I do is change my rez 3 days after a dose of it, then go back to H2O2. The stuff is awesome and a bottle will last you forever. It is also good to use at 1tsp per gallon in a spray bottle between crops as a disenfectant.
Read whats in the ingredient list of a frozen corn dog. That should scare you more. Most of those warnings are related to full strength applications, not diluted. Hell, hydrochloric acid is extremely corrosive and is used in prepping concrete surfaces, but it is also present in everyones stomach.
Take it FWIW, but PHYZAN20 is great stuff in my eyes, for its intended use.
