It seems to be at 78F at the top near the cfls. I held my thermometer there for 3-4 mins and that is what it was reading. On top of my res lid it is 77F.

Oh you are using cfls. How close are they? Cfls can burn a plant very easily. They actually out alot of heat and infrared heat. High resi temps can cause flairing too but not burning.

Maybe when you get some loot you can replace those with cree leds or Philips led spotlight.. they are fairly cheap. More than cfls but last longer and have better spectrum and run cooler. There's a couple of threads with them in the led section.

I don't like cfls at all because they put out uv-c rays. Which is very bad. Screws up Dna cells in plants and people. Causes skin cancer too.

They are 3-4 inches away from the tops of the plants but I am using a total of 12 cfls ranging in watt but all 2700K.

yeah my next grow I will try a different lighting system but any recommendations on what I should do now? My girl that is mid-way through budding has one branch that has gotten red and is really stiff.

That lookss normal. But i suggest pulling some of the shifty damaged leaves. Just don't pull more than 1/3 of the leaves. Phos def looks like its getting worse. Are any leaves clawing up like talons? Any growth ceased?

Yes I see clawing, I see some droopiness, and I am not sure if the growth has ceased since they are flowering. But it does look to be getting worse and since two of the other girls are growing pistils/about to start budding it seems likely they require more phos. I added 1 tsp of Tiger Bloom today. Tomorrow I am going to do a res change. I also removed the damaged leaves....I don't think I pulled more than 1/3 if I did is that something I should worry about? I also carefully cut the damaged areas of some leaves which had a good bit of green on them.

Can you help me with this are we having the same problem ???
I am not sure if we have the same problem but the damaged leaves look similar. I don't mind helping you but you should start your own thread, take pics, and provide some info about your grow. I would like to keep this thread for my plant but I will try to help you. So post a link to your thread.

If clawing that's a sign of nute lock. It can happen by being iver fed just one mineral or if ph gets out of Wack. Flush for a day then go 1/4 strength on nutes. Then after that add more nutes

Green thumb add some more phos.
