Yeah looking at your trimm.... looks like how my mate Garry trims up... he cuts way more sugar leaf and into the flowers a bit, I think he knows some fussy people that like the buds a certain shape

I leave anything surgery on... it kinda folds onto the buds... locks in the smell and stops the flowers getting damaged.... every plants a little different but any leaf that`s close to the buds and frosty I leave on or just trim the tips of... up to you Mike.... like lets say you leave 2 to 4 of these leaves per bud and after they cure you don`t like them in your "joints"... it`s nothing to pick off 2 to 4 leaves to get a gram to roll up with

but when you have loads to trim up, you start thinking about your back and your neck and then if the leaves smell nice and are sticky.... sometimes I`m like No way that leaf is staying on..... and if I see someone go to pick it off before they grind their herbs up I slap them one.... saying "that sweet leaf is more dank than that street herb your paying £5/10 a gram for" ! lol

I`m guessing each jar has between half a zip and 2 zips in it ?

So you got like 15 to 30zips already ? Sounds like you had a 1kg plant there maybe even 2kg`s if it would of had time to fully finish.

Man sounds like you are going to have tons to last you the year mate !!

And you cloned it too ?? Sweet grow it a bit inside over the winter then chuck her outside when it warms up... maybe cover it for a few days to hopefully induce flowering.... don`t know what your day lengths are like there, most canna seems to flower under 14 hour days... some like under 10 hours to get there faster......... most will do well between 13 and 10 hour days... over 14 and most non auto strains will just veg bigger and bigger and bigger......

I just had a family emergency. Knocked a lamp over and tore one side of Wendy the Violator Kush off. She was over two feet tall and doing great. Oh well

Sorry to hear that. It will probably grow two stems from the injury site!

Can't show the hanging stuff due to my garage being quite unique and identifiable but here are the jars so far... The little buds I let dry in a box got really really dry, and smells awesome in the jar, the bigger buds still smell a lot like grass clippings. Hopefully that clears up soon. Kinda worried about it but I'm following protocol and opening twice a day. They all seem pretty dry already though. 20161113_163323.jpg

Hey all, hope your day is well.

You know how I keep talking all this shit about how much more is outside still? Here's why...

This is ONE branch I harvested today of the SIX that were still out there. So five left like this. All supercropped and shit. This is more like it! Fucking bad ass.

BTW that's a 4' x 4' piece of plywood its sitting on.

I've had my own shit here a few times the past week which was nice, good to know what you're smoking came from the earth without anyone Fucking with it. That said I've come to the realization that it's not really my thing. Once it's all dried and cured and I get a pic or two to prove what I've done I'm giving 95% of it away. Although I'll keep a jar or two for shits and giggles it was really all about the grow. I'll grow again next year just to grow as well and maybe a try or two.

Funny thing Mike I have had the same ephifiny about smoking pot. Stoned three times now since retirement and it makes me feel a bit weird and my face numb. Might do it again, don't know, but sure am having fun growing the stuff.

Gotta say, the shit in the jars nor the shit hanging smell much like pot. Don't smell moldy or hay like either. Kinda just like any plant. I mean there's definitely a funky smell but that signature smell is absent. It got me high as hell already a few times so it's done what it's meant to, but any idea why there would be such a loss of that smell? Never really stunk on the vine either like everyone said it would. Not terribly worried, but kinda concerned. I expected the bigger mature buds to smell more but even they are docile smelling.

How much longer do you think would have been optimum? I'm thinking this was about it. Threw out about five decent buds due to mold, brown and white. I think all of it would have been moldy in a few more days.

The guy that gave me the seeds years ago came by. We caught up and did a three hour marathon trim. Maybe an hour left just a bit outside still. There is a massive amount hanging. Wish I had taken pics, but we were hitting it hard. Will post pics of the stump tomorrow after I finish the rest. Then I'll post some pics of the entire harvest in jars soon. I'd say there are close to four, possibly five large freezer zip lock Baggies packed really tight total. Can't wait til it's dried to weigh it all. Have a good night all.

Yeah I had to chop my c99`s outside about a week ago on monday the 7th in the end... once you see mold its time to save everything unless you find a caterpillar that caused it, once it starts getting foggy the mold spreads fast

Looking at the last buds you did.... 2 to 4 weeks, but once you were feeding that thing and hacking some off it fattened up a lot faster so I`m thinking you could be finished 2 to 4 weeks sooner next year running the same plant... obviously an auto or early/fast strain would finish sooner


Anyway man looking good, give them last buds a nice slow dry and a nice long cure....

Drying/curing buds like open air and glass, cardboard and plastics can cause a loss of smell and taste but new type silicone plastics seem a lot better than the older types of plastics.


Looking forward to seeing the last few buds dry

We use them green house tents, that`s why we get so far into the UK winter and still manage to keep plants outside.... been considering a light during the day and a small waterproof heater unit and seeing if I can run outside all year round with that, maybe 500w to 600w to use a 2msq maybe 4msq area, but if I do try that it`ll probably be next winter... think I`m done experimenting in the cold for this year, lol


When you doing us a smoke report ?.... are you going to cook with any of that bud ?
