Here are some pictures of my current personal grow, I will update as the flowers develop. I had other pictures from younger but I always end up getting paranoid and deleting them lol, so I will update them onto this thread as I take them.
The equipment used is pretty basic -
1.2 x 1.2m tent
125mm fan and filter
Desktop fan
600w MH for vegging, Dual spectrum for flowering.
Airpump
Gave most of my equipment away so only got basic until I purchase new stuff, unfortunutely not even got a thermometer, no money as now I refuse to sell my weed lol.
The medium is layers of hydroton pebbles and canna coco, nutrients are canna coco A + B and from now on canna boost and a small dosage of pk13/14.
An airstone is in the bottom of two pots to supply them with extra oxygen. Has not been used much during the vegative period will be used for at least a few hours a day during flowering.
The Strains are -
4 super lemon haze (greenhouse seeds) one with airstone, have grown 3 times and seen 2 grows.
1 Cheese (greenhouse seeds) Have grown once plus my favourite weed out of all the strains I encountered in Amsterdam.
1 White skunk (white label) with airstone, Have done 3 times and seen grown once.
I had gotten all of the seeds mixed up so was not sure which plant was which, but I am pretty certain I know now. They had 4 weeks vegging and are in their 2nd week of flowering. They are getting on pretty well, not nearly growing as tall as they have grown in the past, tallest is about 3 foot.
I had a problem with the new growth turning yellow just before I took the pictures, it was just down to a wee bit of stress. I had over watered them slightly before changing the bulb, all they needed was the light raised slightly and not watered for a few days, they have gotten a lot better now they just need a dosage of boost and they'll be spot on.
They have had no training as it has not really been needed just a lot of leaves removed ( yes I know many people say don't and I wouldn't dare argue with some of people that do but I feel it does good), and a lot of leaves will continue to be removed.
Strain reviews so far -
super lemon haze-
This strain has crazy potential, the most crystally weed I have ever saw was this, not the strongest weed though.
I know of a few phenotypes a taller sativa that produces grape like calyxes and has a crazy amount of resin with a candy sweet smell and hazy taste, this one is a large producer due to its sativa like formation allowing more light through and the way in which the flowers swell.
A smaller sativa like plant kinda like a indica in branch formation but sativa in the shape of the leaves, smells lemony, taste a bit more sweeter. While this phenotype is easier to control height wise it will get more bushy, not swell as much and will not have as much light penetration.
These are the clear differences in the phenotypes I have came across with this strain, I prefer the more sativa and would not train, the smaller phenotype responds well to topping, lst.
Here is a picture of a bud.
White skunk-
This strain is from white label and is superb. The strength of the stone is excellent a heavier relaxing stone. This strain could well be some of the strongest I have came across brilliant through the bong.
I am certain the genetics have changed slightly in the past few year though. In the past I had a one bud from this strain that weighed 3.5oz, the bud quality was and still is top notch it smelt very strong on the plant kinda like rotten meat, once cured had a rich unique smell and taste to it, superb.
The past couple of times i've seen this grown the large and potent flowers were still their but the rotten meat smell and the taste had changed, still excellent and very smelly but the richness has seemed to have gone.
This plant will grow wild if you let it and is important to keep them under control, with strong side branches and large flowers, however my current white skunk does not seem to want to stretch much. They respond very well to topping and lst.
Hopefully the bud quality will have the richness it did in the past however even if it doesn't this is still a top notch smelly, tasty strong strain.
I only have pictures of one grow with the white skunk but here it is they are the two at the front.
Cheese-
This strain if it is as expected is something special, I have grown it once before just one plant so I am not 100% but the bud quality was top notch. The smell and taste was very strong somewhat fruityish and very piercing. The cheese from greenhouse seeds cafe was very similar to the stuff I had done and was different to any other cheese from other cafes (every morning I would visit just for their cheese), which leads me to believe that the phenotypes do not differ too much in smell and taste. The plant I grew in the past had lst and was a very pronounced four branches with large greasy smelly flowers. The strength was somewhat slightly above average but it is the taste and smell of this stuff that makes it one of my favourites. Pictures will be shown of the cheese that is growing now so no need in describing it. I have not had much experience with this plant but would recommend.
So here are the ladies into week 3 of vegative growth, theres only one picture-
This is them at about 5.5 weeks, about 1 and a half weeks since the light period was changed. Mh bulb was changed a few days ago.
Here they are individually-
