i got it set up and i hope the landlord dont bitch about the window, i also split the electric bill with someone attached to my house and the bill is in the landlords name so that could be a issue

just outside my windown i got exhaust on the light and intake on the bottom , simple and works so wonder full temps between 71-84 daily mostly 73-81

could i ask about you're reflector, is it a normal reflector you get on a hps light or/kit and have youve taken away the bulb fitting and then attached the reflector to the the cool tube, if so great idea, im going to go have a go at that now, if not you've just give me a great idea that been staring me in the face, so ty, as i hate them semi crap reflectors you get with coll tubes, crap coverage and they pop of the tube, scratch the glass,

On the power side, a lot of power PCs can draw up to 400W, so a couple of computers running could account for the extra power draw if someone notices. I think grows like this can be overly risky (rental, shared power bill, shared walls with neighbor) because of the security concerns. Make sure you get the smell/noise buttoned down and you have a tear down plane in the event you need to give access to your landlord or a service provider (gas/electric/cable).

I built a carbon filter using a combination of methods I found online and it works great. No smell at all and well under $50.

im on the 3rd floor, and yeah i dont know how to build so its in the windown and as far as the smell , i got a carbon filter to help with that

I came here for advice and this is my first grow room , Please dont call it pitifull


im on the 3rd floor and im hoping my filter really helps out i also live in cali and have my medical card

I agree that you should cover the windows better. You don't want anyone seeing all that light spill out of the window every time you check on them. Have you listened from outside to see how loud those fans are?

That may be tricky since he is on the 3rd floor. More concern would be anyone under/over his room

the fans are somewhat loud, i went outside and can here them, im on the 3rd floor and people can get all the way to the 2nd floor, and 0 light gets through... no light what so ever , im not good at building either
