All I see is a grower who grows plants with overpriced lights. Plant grown with a HLG lighting which cost less than $500. I could add 4 more of the same lights and still have money left over from what you dropped on those old dogs.

Mids at its finest right here.
Also your buds under your $8000 lights are puny, probably looking at .50-.75gpw if you’re lucky?
terrible turnaround if you ask me.

Really hope you didn't spend $8000 on lights, for that kind of money I could build out my entire spare room floor to ceiling and still have money left over for genetics and a personal grow tutor. :wall: My guess is you bought the tired old dogs off of someone else who was smart enough to know that technology has improved and had decided to upgrade their lighting. As I said before I'm new to growing, but I've already grown flower that is way better than anything I smoked as a kid. @Lifer99 Do your homework and decide how much you want to invest in growing, plenty of folks here have grown nice flower without spending a fortune.

So I never stated how much I paid for anything. Plus they have cheaper lights. You listening to a dumb ass that spend his day trolling people hating. what I said if you believe they grew what they grew. Not many 1000 grow lights you can run in a 4x4. And so you know they updated their technology. I still ask with light claims to grow more per square ft then this light? Here is part of a grow along that substantiate my claim if you belive they grew what they grew. Heck their web site is pretty straightforward. I'm not a pro never claimed to be but I know a good light when I use it and I have used a few different ones. Used correctly you getting weight with these in my opinion

dude it was my second grow with a cheap chinese light. what do you expect.
as for the puny buds we 6 weeks into a ten week flower so they will get bigger. my guess was 1 gpw or or 65g a sqft or 2.3 pounds. with id be happy with considering it an all new setup that not dialed in yet and in not that experienced. for reference the commercial industry yield average per square foot 38 grams or 1.35pound and the industry average per watt is about .60 or 1.35 pounds per 1000watt fixture. so lets do the math. using .5 gpw. 1050 gram time .5 is 525grams times four light is 2100 grams or 4.68 pound. costing1750 per pound 109.37 per ounce and 4 dollars a gram your first grow would net 8190 dollars. so even by your numbers with is very modest for the yields this light makes it still has a one grow turn around.
it also hasd a 90day money back guarantee for people that use their light and arent completely satisfied. no other light company is doing that with says alot about the quailty of their product in my opinion because you can get one and run a flower cycle with it and if doesnt pay for itself you cn send it back

I think Im going to go with that HLG 1000 as reccomended after doing my research and going with a 4x4 tent I found on amazon. It looks decently made unless someone has a specific brand that is the best I should look at.
AC Infinity CLOUDLAB 844 Advance Grow Tent, 4x4 with Thicker 1 in. Poles, Higher Density 2000D Diamond Mylar Canvas, Controller Mount for Hydroponics Indoor Growing, 48” x 48” x 80”

If you order from HLG use code RIU10 for 10% off.
Thank you very much. Im going to order the HLG600 Rspec however I dont know shit about electrical. It always scared me so I steered clear which is why I have to ask an elementary question. If I buy this light system it offers the following versions:
5-15 120v
6-15 240v

I would assume if Im running it off a normal power system like a wall outlet I need the 120? I wanted to be safe rather than sorry so If someone can verify this I would greatly appreciate your knowledge.

Thanks

Ya. 120 for a 120 circuit. And putting them together is easy. But you can also get them prebuilt.

Nice. You're gonna love it. Congrats.
Thanks alot man!

I got a little carried away and ended up buying a 5x5 tent. Im gonna end up needing a second light but for the first grow or two until I know what Im doing ill just keep it right over them. The footprint should be fine. Im not expecting too much until I get the hang of things.
I went with the AC Infinity Cloudlab 866 Advanced 5x5 tent (im not advanced) though with time Im sure my skill will get better...I hope.
I will likely buy a second light from HLG if/when I need it and that should be plenty of light between the two I would assume?

Pretty excited to get started after I get back from my work trip coming up in the next couple weeks.
