Pineapple Express #2 gs13 question

hello I was just wondering if anyone tried Pineapple Express 2 ? I tried searching but couldn't find much of a review and it seems like the strain has been out long enough just wondering why the lack of review ? I am a fan of the orginal Pineapple Express and wanted to know how the 2nd one stacks up . Wanted to know since it's breed to yield more then the first one does that affect the potency ? All help would be appreciated I was looking to make a purchase before tommarow thanks

I remember seeing the #2 was from a more sativa pheno. I'm not sure if that would mean more or less yield or potency but I don't think they would take the time to breed a #2 strain if it wasn't better. It might be worth trying.

I have the G13 PE but not the #2, I like how it turned out. Has a nice balance of yield and potency. It flowered faster than I was expecting, some more sativa to it might help slow that down.

Bought a 10 pack 4 months ago and only 1 popped but it didn't make it. Was really pissed off. I had previously got 2 free PE #2 seeds and the same exact thing happened. Then I get another free PE #2 seed from Attitude and it not only popped but came out beautiful. I actually kept clones and it's a regular for me now. Very tight nugs and orange hairs and quite similar to the original PE.

I never had this problem before with any packs from Attitude or Midweek Song but I really wanted to try the #2. So beware with these seeds. G13 Labs has always been hit and miss with their genetics but their packs have always popped. Not sure if the stock was old when I got mine but it may be worth a try.

i have ran a few runs of PE2, its faster, they where done right at 50 days from show, yield was decent, not as good as the original PE but still decent .. the smoke has a more skunky flavor and smell .. it's good but i think the original is better.

I have a PE2 in my tent right now. Leaves are getting frosted up a bit...will let you know what it's like.

I just rec'd G13 PE and G13 PE2. I will be running them in a few months to compare them.

I bought these seeds from Attitude SeedBank and germinated this plant on the last day of Feb. I have a Pineapple Kush and Black D.O.G. growing along side it that both germinated at the exact same time. I realized after about 3 to 4 weeks of veg that the PE2 was already starting to flower even though my lights were 18/6. I kept the light schedule the same for another week or so and then switched all 3 plants to 12/12 on April 7, or 3 weeks ago.

I guess I either somehow started the PE2 into flower or else they gave me a PE2 (or PE) Auto. It's been 60 days from germination. I took the picture with my $100 Canon Powershot SD960 IS camera. It has a digital macro setting for taking closeups and I have a tripod which is mandatory for taking macro shots. I will take some more pics when the lights come on in a few hours and post some more. Here's another from a couple days ago.

Looks like it's getting close. The other 2 plants (Pineapple Kush and Black D.O.G.) have 30 more days left or so.

Definite swelling going on and the smell has really come alive. Colas are very firm and fruity.

I have a 5 pack of of g13 pe2 in the mail coming any day now. I grew the first one, and had a killer pheno that I had never seen from PE before. It was dark green, with pink, red, and blue tones on the buds. It had a fruity, vanilla, coffee, earthy smell. And tasted amazing. I flowered out all my clones. Thought I had one left to mother but I didnt. I was super sad.

My first pe#2 popped. I soaked it for 24 hours, then paper towel method for liken18 hours. Planted and it's already up and deshelled itself and over 1 1/2" tall already less than 24 hours after it was planted. This is gonna be a fast plant I can tell

I ran a PE2 from G13, yielded a fuck ton, 9-10oz under a 1k HPS DWC...

Lab tested @ 11% THCa .... ok, but nothing special...

high is ok, but seemed short lived...
