Pineapple Express & sweetner

I am currently running the G13 labs pineapple express and I noticed that the pheno I have doesn't really have that sweet/fruity taste. I run in organic soils and General Organics as my nutrient line (additives: Kool Bloom liquid, Armor Si), which I have for the last 5 years. I just bought a bottle of Pineapple sweetner from floranectar. I have fed 6 pineapples 1 feed so far. They are on tail end of week 2. What I'm asking is, will this help "assist" the flavors and scents of the strain? Don't get me wrong, its good smoke and produced very well, just not what people have talked about in forums etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated on helping me get this strain to its maximum.

If you want to get the best flavor out of your flowers reduce the nutrient level at the end of your grow and add more Potassium and Magnesium.

I ran the g13 pe and I found the taste to be far less than desirable.
Probably a personal preference, but I'd be interested to see what others are also saying about the g13 version.

Was easy to grow and yielded pretty decent, but due to taste and smell
I won't run the g13 pe again.

The sweetner stuff is just a bunch of bullshit, it won't help you get what you need. What you have to do is buy a couple 10 packs and run them all out and keep the one that has the traits that you are looking for. These plants produce their own stuff you dont need to add crap.

i second that..if ur growing something that u have to use additives to make it taste good..ur growin the wrong shit
I have literally grown an elite OG Kush clone in straight fox farms and water throughout the whole life. Though it was only 3 feet tall and didn't have much to feed it still was amazing that the genetics shined right through even without any additives whatsoever. OH and HOSE WATER from the city.

Genetics are the biggest factor I believe, they determine the strengths, weaknesses, and the environmental factors it can withstand.

Pineapple rush will not do shit for taste asuming your plant has what it needs. Its just a little sulfer, molasses and potassium. I've heard people say it changes the taste and even makes they're bud taste like pineapples, these people do not know how to science. It doesnt change crap

LOL alright. Well. I appreciate everyones advice. I'm pretty much in the same boat with you all on if the strain genetic isn't right, run another of its kind or something else. I'm just winging something I seen in the store. Ive let a few onces sit in jars for the last couple weeks and has seems to draw more taste and smell as it cures. I will probably just give a test run on a few for the remainder of the current cycle and see how it is. Ive just never really felt the need to run a sweetner til this harvest kinda threw me off guard by it not initially smelling and tasting like advertised etc.

I have grown Pineaple Express 3 times in the last 3 years. I would grow again but not because of the taste. its not bad but nothing special except for just one pheno 3 years ago. Its a good yielder with a good day buzz.

Them bloom boosters don't work a plant can only uptake a certain amount of nutes
Sulfur does more then realize from what I have read

the fox farm 3 part bloom boosters in the powder form are the worst, you have to use like 1/4 strength in order to not burn the shit out of the plants lolol.

Cha CHing , Beastie Blooms, and Open Sesame lol... all added to your lineup to fuck up the mix. Well mine at least, I got smart haven't been using it for a while but I don't want to sit on them forever I might just pass them out free.

I have been using the full fox farms line-up in coco for five years and best grows ever! I never ph either. 8 drops ph down in plain water or nothing but the nute line-up in water. Haven't checked ph in two years and sold meter in garage sale.

Do you use the advertised dosage? I am just wondering, I had to taper that shit back the powdered nutes are way too strong if you do what they tell you.
