im assuming a good majority of the people on this site listen to the Floyd(especially Darkside lol you Stoners:mrgreen:).i took a sick day today, sparked up a few bowls of some unknown purp, and turned my ipod on.i was going to originaly listen to Hemispheres by Rush, but instead i listened to Animals(the most underappreciated Pink Floyd album btw)and now my eyes have (re)opened to the total police state around the world, enjoy:blsmoke:

All you Pink Floyd fans can appreciate this!

I have my own personal version of Comfortably Dumb, maybe Ill get a Karaoke machine and post it on youtube...
I think you can see the possibilities here!

Personally The Wall and Dark side of the moon are my favs, esp. Dark side of the moon.... I think it holds some kind of record for sales or on charts the most... Too bad they broke up, I never got to see them, not even in the 70's... Oh well life goes on, we still have their gift of music.... They are all old farts now as are so many of the other good rocknrollers.... When I was a kid if you told me these would be my "oldies" I would have laughed.....

lol awesome link,i always had a high appreciation for Dark side of the moon, with all the "household sound effects" carefully added with voices and all that good stuff.and The Wall tells a story a lot of people can relate to too.My top 3 albums by Pink Floyd would be Wish you were here,Darkside, and Animals.

All awesome man.... The documentary they have on Pink Floyd on MTV2 occasionally is worth watching... I am 62 and I keep em loaded in the CD...I still have memories of doing acid and going to the midnight movie to see them in Quad stereo... I dont remember which album but they were playing in some Greek amphitheater. Was about my first exposure to them..... God it was great back then getting stoned and going to concerts. My all time favorite concert to see would be Jethro Tull, never got to see Pink Floyd or Jimmy Hendrix...

The movie you are referring to is "Live at Pompeii". It came out in 1972. I've seen JT so many times, I grew tired of them. Seen PF 3 times.
