The "Pink Kush" is a cross between a "Director's Kush" and "Pink Freezeland", a guy that goes on the forums by the name "Archangel" made the cross, another guy that goes by the name Fang stabilized the cross and then they passed it around. The "Director's Kush" was called that because it came from a filmmaker, but it's most likely just OG Kush. The "Pink Freezeland" is just Freezeland with pink pistils. This "Pink Kush" has two phenos, one with pink pistils (that takes after Freezeland) and another "green" pheno which flowers later. The Pink Kush with pink pistils is actually even earlier than Freezeland, so it seems that the OG Kush somehow made the cross mature a full month earlier than Freezeland at 52 degrees latitude. This surprising earliness, combined with good potency and solid buds that are not prone to mold has helped made the "Pink Kush" a good outdoor choice for Northern latitudes.
