whats up everybody. finally have everything ready so im ready to get started. this run will be primarily for seeds but i will leave a few unpollinated if i get a high female count. i have 2 - 12 packs of pinkbud and 1- 10 pack of himalaya blue deisel. im starting them in small party cups of promix under 3 t-8 shoplights with 6500k bulbs. i will be transplanting into 1 gallon grow bags and finishing them in a 2x4 tent with a 600w hps.

i will be using :
neptunes harvest hydroloyzed fish
roots organics HPK
fox farms Big Bloom

my soil is a mixture of promix and shrimp compost with azomite and espoma bio-tone. the bio-tone is a great product. it has many different bacterial cultures as well as mycorrhizae. ill get some pics up of what im using in a minute. not too much to see right now but ill keep my progess posted.

update:

this morning i checked on everything and i found 21 0f 24 pinkbuds have germinated with 10 of them above ground and the rest are on there way. for the BHD, 5 of 10 so far with 3 above ground. it is still only been less than 72 hours since i sowed the seeds so im confident more will pop in the next day or two.
as for the pinkbud's, i think its safe to say they are very viable. i read some posts on the seeds not being very viable but i can say thats not true. i cant wait to watch them grow up.

Yea, mine took about 80-85 days from seed, but it was outdoors, indoors should be alot better. not a big diesel smelling plant but i could tell some berry flavor and kush.

ok so the final tally is
23 pinkbuds & 7 HBD.

i got my hps in the mail monday and man that bitch gets hot. i had temp swings going up to 90 degrees at first but i changed some things around in the tent and got the temps to hold at 83 degrees. i put the plants in there tuesdayto get some better light after i got everything dialed in with the temps. we have had some very mild weather here for november so that is the main problem with the high temps. the past few days were alot cooler and i noticed the temps in the tent hung around 77-82 so im happy with that. anyways, heres my setup and a few pics.

Yea I know what you mean about the weather. It's been 80 for the past 2 days here, I had to turn my 400w down to 250w and my grow temps were still 86!
Looks like a good setup, good luck.

day 10

these pics are from last night so they are day 9 in the pictures. i watered the girls last night and gave them 1 tbsp/gal of Big Bloom. they all look nice and the new growth is apparent. i have one PB that has some yellowing on the one leaf but i think it may be from too much light early on. it looks to me like the chloryphyll was bleached out and since it was right under the hood it makes sense but the new growth is green and the leaf itself is beginning to turn green so im not worried at all. here are a few pics. when i get a better light the pictures will be better. tonight i will turn the lights back to 18/6.

3 yet to show

himalaya blue deisel

so now the fun begins. i isolated a few pinkbud males in my isolation room to makes seeds with. for the HBD, i gave the males and 1 female to a friend so i have 2 HBD females and the rest pinkbud. in a few weeks my room should be very colorful but for now we wait.

DAY 22

everything is well into flowering now. i have 2 girls at the moment that are showing color on the caylaxes. when the color is more prononunced i will get some good pictures of it. here are a few i took on friday. the PB's are getting real stinky. the pic with just the 2 plants are the 2 HBD girls. the one has had a coat of resin on the fan leaves since about day 14. the single pic plant is a colorful PB girl and is next to biggest and is the fastest flowering out of the bunch. i will definitely make seeds with her. i also have a PB girl which is showing no color yet but is the biggest in stature and has a stem fatter than a pencil already!!! maybe shes gonna be a heavy yeilder. you can kind of see the big stem in pic 1 & pic 6, ( its the plant in the back kind of centered ). when i have the time i will pull them out of the tent and get some close ups of the girls. PEACE!!!!!!

Holy balls man your setup is similar to mine. We even have the same thermometer. How do you like those 1 gallon pots? I'm wanting to put 9 1 gallons in my 3 x 3 with my finishing plants. Your pics helped me visualize me setup a little better.
