pissed off at my plant

my plant is tall and skinny with a big gap between leaves and is not growing well i have 3 lights all around it. i just transplanted it today and the roots were extremly tall to, how can i get some root structure and leaves growin its in a large taco bell cup right now. also all the lights are close and there in some good soil mixed with prelite.

dude all wrong.u need a gal bucket for great growth and more lights.

dont be pissed at your plant...hes not the one who put himself in a fucking biggulp cup with a couple of weak ass lights around himself...wackymack is right...change to a pot with drain holes for drainage and airation....put the lights closer and add more of them...

You are not angry with your plant. You are angry at your own limitations as a grower. The plant is responding to neglect, nothing more. Proper container and adequate wattage are called for here.

yea u guys are right i just have to hide it and have it veg for a lil while until i transplant it outdoors, but ihve 3 lights real close

How long had it been in it's soil before you transplanted? How did you transplant them? Did you damage any of the roots? Sounds like it if you could see the roots stretched out.

I would put them in something better then that Taco Hell cup, like everyone else has suggested.

What kind of lights do you have on them?

it was in a party cup for the first 2 weeks but i didnt transplant it outside yet b/c i didnt feel the stem was strong enough to endure the ourdoor wind. i just cut the cup and brushed off the dirt gently untill i got to the roots then put it in a better soil. ive been having a fan on it to strenthen it up. i have one florecent grow light and 2 normal lamp 150w lights. the florecent is like 2 inches away an did have the lamp lights on each sides about 6inches away bc of the heat. now the leave tips are turning yellow and seem to be dieing. im not sure what to. how long should i wait to transplant outside if it survives?

by 2 "normal" 150w lights,do u mean incandescents?

YOU CAN NOT USE INCANDESCENT LIGHTS. FLOROS/ CFLS< OR HID LIGHTS ONLY.

If you cant get any of those then stash the plant outside somewhere. WM

i will but whats wrong with incandescent lights i have 2of them and one florecent plant light from walmart.?

incans are wrong in every way,wrong spec,low lumen output,they produce way to much heat.ive used them once and never again,it made a streched out plant that just got burnt in the end by the heat of those lights.

so should i use just theflorecent or transplant outside?

go to wal mart get some cfls youll be glad you did

always go outside if possible....if you stay indoors...dont even fuck around with cfls..just lay down the money for a nice 400w hps system....its all you need to produce some nice dense buds for great smoking....
