Pistils on Babies??

I'm about three weeks into veg for my second grow. I'm doing two plans this time, both Strawberry Fields (same as my first which is in its last weeks of flower now).

Initially they were under the same LED w/ my flowering plant. I tried to move them to their own tent with the HPS, but hugely underestimated the amount of heat a 600W would throw off, and I didn't have time to change my apartment layout in the middle of the week. Still didn't want them on a 12/12 anymore so I put them into a 24hr cycle but with some CFLs. Managed to get my HPS and apartment setup so the tent stays at 80, it's been like this for two weeks or so.

I'm starting to see pistils on both of them now, though. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy they're both girls because they're bag seeds. I just wasn't expecting it. Is it just because they spent time on 12/12 and had the energy stored to pop a couple? These should go back to vegging soon, right?

Pre-flowers are normal, sexual maturity sets in around 3-5 weeks.. Its how you tell sex without flowering.

It is still a vegging plant untill you drop the light hours.
