Buy a loupe, look at the trichomes, harvest for the effect you wish.

tbh the type of effect doesnt really matter as much this time, just trying to see if it will get bigger or not

How far along are they(flowering)?
Def get your self a loupe to check those trichs(about 50% red hairs=getting close)

Just wanna know if the buds are going to get bigger because they are frosty enough to have a potent effect regardless if its clearer or stonier. its a pure indica tho so it should be a nice body stone.

This was on May 28th so its been over 4 weeks since switching to 12/12..

nvm its been cut down to use since it looked good enough lol.. wonder how much it'll weigh dried out. Its gonna all be vaped or cooked so its getting dehydrated at 125 with a "fan having" dehydrator to make it quick. Shouldnt take more than a day solid to be pretty dry. the big buds mgiht still be flexible but will even out moisture wise over a couple days if taken out from what ive read.

any guess on the dry weight?

Only four weeks of flower? I don't think you were even close yet man.

eh. Well tbh the plant can now be revegged and sprayed with ga3 for some fem seeds so it isnt really a loss.

Yeap... you still got a few weeks to go .. And that will not give a "body" high.. it will give you a "head" high.. that's a Sativa you got there my friend .. don't look like an afgan to me .Indica use creates a “couch-lock”, I-don’t-want-to-move-a-muscle type high. Patients is a virtue when it comes to MJ cultivation. Keep an eye on the trichs. They will tell you when to take her down.

Like I said. Lesson leaned but the bud still works.

One thing I can say is to wait for the smell and swelling. Almost always, the start of the last 2 weeks it will REEK and swell up. That's when I start to look through the loupe at the trichs. All your buds look like popcorns compared to what they would've been.

And the shortest flowering time I've heard of with good results was 6 weeks, and that's on the fast side .

I will probably get hammered for this but I guage how well the plant is and how badly it has been treated by the amount of browning pistles. Not sure if it is strain related but lets say my ph strays a bit and goes un-noticed for a day or 2, pistles start browning. This is not to be confused with natural browning but I certainly wouldn't be using this as an indicator of maturity or harvest time. As stated in an earlier post, swollen cyclaxes and growth spurt tells me we are in the final week or 2.
