Not all Pitts are bad boys and girls just a few and I blame the owners. It kills me how many dogs are put down because of bad owners.

Where I live now they only allow dogs under 30 lbs. I do miss having a pooch, but my two friendly felines will just have to do.

My daughter has a pit/boxer mix a big mofo she has had the dog for about 3 yrs now . About a year ago the daughter and her boyfriend were looking for a new apartment that was pet friendly she was told by several apt. managers that they couldnt move in because of her dog being part pit bull they just didnt allow pit bulls.......they finally found a complex that allowed them to move in but they had to say the dog was a boxer............it's a shame that they have been given a bad reputation but it's like the old saying one

I can see from the pics that they both terrorize the neighborhood. lol. What sweeties they are. I've owned a Lab, Rhodesian Ridgeback, English Bulldog and a French Beauceron. Loved them all. Miss them all. The Lab was my soul mate. The Ridgeback had energy oozing out of her pores could run for miles. The Bulldog seemed like Churchill and stubborn.
The Beauceron was someone's throw away dog saved him from the pound. I thought he'd end up being about 70-80 pounds, ended up at 110. Ate like a fool and crapped like a cow.

a pit raised with love and given attention can be the most awesome dog in the world. its been about a year since I put my 14 year old girl down. I miss her like crazy.
