When I was a kid and we stayed at motels on road trips they often had a coin box on the side for 'Magic Fingers'. Basically an off-balance wheel spinning inside a box bolted to the bottom of the bed frame to make the whole bed vibrate. Lo-tech thrills for a lo-tech world.
