Welcome to...

JURASSIC PARK

wait, no..that's not right.

BEERCUP MADNESS

Let's get the party started.

Simple as can be, this is passive hydroponics in a 2x2. Beercups stuffed with rockwool. I water twice daily by dunking the cups in a bucket. We're around week 4 of flowering, with around 4 weeks of growth from seed.

Any critique is welcome. I still consider myself a very amateur grower, this is the only grow I've ever been happy enough with to share. This is attempt #3, however I consider it my first REAL, educated attempt.

For nutes I'm using Maxibloom and a silica supplement.

Do you guys think i was too aggressive in my pruning on some of these?

The strains:
- Bright Moments (Gage Green Genetics)
- Chemmy Jones (CSG)
- Secret Recipe (CSG)
- Ganesh (Mandala)
- Madness (World of Seeds)
- Cheese (Dinafem)

These pics are all from 3 days ago, since then the buds have swelled even more and the pistils are all starting to turn different colours. Everythings looking great :]

Boy you sure did do some massive pruning, not sure I'd do that but they look alright.

Figured as much, going to do that once I get my seeds out.

Always a fun time haha, I'll be search for the purple Pheno as well as the Iper Resinous from Buddha's Sister seeds.
Nice man. It looks like I've found a few keepers. The Madness and Secret Recipe look to be the yielders of the group, and I dusted a few of the other plants branches with the branchiest and most vigorous SR male's pollen. I'm extremely stoked to see how they smoke.

Okay guys, a little update. If this thread started at week 4 we are now at week 5 and a bit.
I hit em with some koolbloom powder today. Another change I made is they are now being watered via bottom feed.

secret recipe nugs. This plant is the highest yielding I think. Every single nug is my thumb size or bigger.

pheno hunting.
Yeah but shouldn't you grow them out the way you would in reality? Not all plants will respond to training the same, so I would grow them out trained as you normally would...but yeah I see the obvious downside of only hunting through 2-3 strains in a go.

What kind of lights are you working with on your flowering?
I believe theyre 3000k

I harvested everything today, here are a couple pics of what I got. I'll take some nice ones a bit later on once it all dries a bit. The perspective is weird but the average plant height is around 16 inches.
