Place to grow discreetly...

Hi, I'm new to this and just ordered 10 seeds of kc brains kc45. I'm really excited to start growing, but I have a problem. My living arrangements are currently inhospitable to the cultivation of cannabis. I've come up with what I think is a pretty good idea, build a cube table thing at about 3x3x4 feet that has like a hidden latch or something and put some lights and a couple pots inside. I know that this strain can grow tall, so I'd have to dwarf and prune it, but I was wondering if this would work, or if there are any other suggestions for surreptitiously growing... Thanks in advance!

The taller you can make your cab the better. You will always want more space when you upgrade to stronger lights.

A tent is also MUCH easier to deal with.

I live in the middle of a city, so I can't really set up a tent. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I used the uhaul grand wardrobe box my first time.

I bought a space blanket for 2.00 at walmart and a can of spray on adhesive to apply it to the inside of the box.

The box has a metal bar across the top where you can hang a light, it's very sturdy. I was able to run a carbon filter out, hang lights, and run an intake fan without any problems.

Cardboard has an ignition temperature of 800 F, it's safer than it sounds.

Thanks! I think I'm going to order this now, it's perfect (and only $12!). All I need now is a cheap light...

Checkout the DIY CFL grow light threads. I started with a simple power strip with CFL bulbs on Y splitters and just hung it upside down so the plants got the light.
Cost about 22.00 total including 6 bulbs.

Eventually you'll want to get a better light but CFL lights will get you started.

Good luck in your grow!
