Planned on harvest today, gonna wait a week - what you think?

Been in flower since December 4th.

There were two separate weeks where I went away and the poor plant almost died, but came back to life.

The pistils are starting to recede and some are turning brown. All trichomes are cloudy and some appear to be turning, although I have a hard time telling (with a 30x magnifying glass).

So I was planning on harvesting this week, but I think I'm going to wait until next weekend. I already flushed with pure water last watering, and today gave it a very weak nutrient solution to help with any last minute growth.

Harvest now? Wait longer than 1 week?

(growing in a 15x15x24 inch box with 4 42W CFL's )

Edit: Bagseed

you've easily got a week or two left man.
Damn! :wall:

I hate growing sativas haha. Until you smoke them that is

I'm not cutting this girl early I'll wait it out until it is ready. Should I keep feeding a low nutrient solution then?

The leaves look like that no offense but because it looks to of had some growing issues. Yellowing and death from flowering is must more even and faded.

dont give it anymore nutes. give it 2 tablespoons of molasses or syrup and mix it with a two liter of water and feed with that. the sugars promote bud growth through a long explantion of root growth. if i were you i would give it the syrup water today and keep it going for 10 to 14 days. watch it everyday though. no more nutes though. good luck. the leaves dying is normal too. the buds drain all the energy through photosynthesis from the leaves

This is my third grow. As I said in the original post it did have some growing issues with not being watered for a week and almost dying twice, and I also think I over-fertilized it a little. This was my first grow using Flora nova bloom and I was a little over-eager to try it out.

I know the yellowing of the leaves is natural but I did realize it was a little uneven and seemed to start pretty early. During flowering as the fan leaves started yellowing they developed those brown spots and would die off unevenly, but I kind of looked past it and didn't worry too much. I think it was from one of two things or maybe both:
1. Using too much food
2. Starting to get rootbound because the plant is in such a small container relative to its size and mass.
I do have a nice looking plant that was just diagnosed as a girl, so I'll try to use a little less nutes with this one and see how it does.

I used molasses my first grow, didn't use it my second, and honestly didn't notice that much of a difference. But I also use random seeds collected from friends and have no idea what strain I have.

Heres a pic of my just diagnosed female. I don't know the exact strain, but do know it is from medical grade. 12/12 from seed 4-5 week ago. Just showed sex.

last i checked leaves have nothing to do with your buds being mature. fuck up your own plants and let this dude finish his properly.

yup, if you don't have a scope look at the pistils (hairs). flush when they are 75% died back. yours look 75% alive to me bro.

Been there, made that mistake already

And donkey, I do have a scope. I was never really able to tell in the past when they were turning amber or not, but I think that's because in my previous grows I didn't wait until it was fully matured and ready for harvest. I think I've always been cutting them early.

I hope it doesn't take too long, I can't take the suspense

UPDATED PICS!!

The big question is:

Should I start the flush now? Or wait?
I am watering my plants today. You think I should give her some more nutes or pure water and flush for a week?

Seems like the trichomes are beginning to look a little cloudy

Well I went ahead and started flushing. A week to a week and a half and I'll chop...depending on how fast the rest of the trich's mature
