Hey guys I'm new to the forum so just bare with me if I'm lacking info in my question. After months of reading I've finally decided to go ahead with my first grow I will be using a 4x4x7 tent with 600 watt HID light, 4" extractor fan and a 4" filter. I'm thinking of having either 4 plants in 15 litre pots and I'm just wondering if the lighting will be enough to cater for all the plants. I've also had an Idea of attaching 2 14 watt led panels on each side to help with the lighting is this a good idea?

A 600w light is plenty for four plants, you could grow 4 monsters with that. The led panels, they wont do any harm but they wont do much good either, better than nothing I suppose but youre better using lst to make sure your plants bud sites are getting full exposure to the 600,although I would say dont remove fan leaves for this reason, the plant needs them.
Good luck man,peace:peace:
Ps I dont know what 4x4 equates to but running a 600 you ideally want a 120x120 size tent and at least a 5" fan and filter, although if youve already bought your stuff then Im sure itll be fine;-)

Thank you for the advice! So shall I keep the fan leaves on through out the grow or can you give me a rough idea when to trim them? Thanks again!

Yeah just leave the fan leaves on,the plant needs them for bud production, also taking leaves off duringveg slows growth.I will rarely remove fan leaves unless theres nowhere to tuck them and theyre covering a bud site,or if one top starts growing way above the rest Ill strip some leaves just to slow its growth and let the other tops catch up.
