plant doesnt smell. Whats wrong with it please help......

my buddy has a plant growing and it is 2 months into flowering and it doesnt smell at all. why is this? it looks great and healthy full of white pistol and is budding. will it start to smell at all. What is the problem and what do i tell him to do to get it to smell good. By the way its Hindo Kush x Mazar... Please help

There are probably 5 new threads a day talking about smell, or lack there of it... A lot of plants do not really develop their full smell potential until they have been harvested and cured...

some really great strains have a very low smell. the benefit is a stealthier grow. some breeders have actually tried to breed potency into their strains while breeding the smell out. I am currently growing ed rosenthal's super bud from paradise seeds. it has almost no detectable aroma. even when totally ripe and fully cured.

its still growing partially. once you pick the buds and set them they will get the smell. if his buds do not then i do not know.
