Plant fermentation

I'm trying my hand at plant fermenting. I am making my own kelp and alfalfa liquid plant food. Has any one used this method ? Seems simple just mix water and kelp in a bottle with a loose cap so gas can escape. From what I was reading this lets Bactria eat the matter and break it down so your plants can use it right away.

Well any thoughts or ides on this topic ?

I have used a dandelion and comfrey fermented tea, it's been in a bucket now for almost a yr, doesn't smell... as long as you don't stir it...
I was bothered by the smell a ways back, and for the hell of it, I added two tablespoons of BSM, and an airpump, and about 6 hrs in it smelled just like compost.
My theory is the anaerobic bacteria is smellier than the aerobic kind..
Just a stoner thinking aloud though
