Id say get some string and start pulling the tops down and tying them to( nails through pot, strong metal clips, holes drilled through pots at top). Lil bit day by day keep pulling the tops down till the plant stops going vertical and just fills out.

Clips. Huh who'da thunk it. I've been thinking about a solution for tying down plants in grow bags. Thanks.

No problem I got mine at Walmart in the school supplies section. 10 for 2 bux is a good deal for how strong they are and how well they work. I got my Speed Queen from 4 vertical 10" tops down to 4" max height altogether ;] Plant on far left

+1 for that Nice suggestion. Walmart is the devil, but they have certainly supplied me with many tools to do the job through the years.

Since you are in week 2 of bloom, the stretch should be over. Allow another 2-3 days of insane growth-- the rest of the vertical development should be mainly buddage therein.

Given that your in week 2 I would say tying down is for sure your best option. And damn man, those fan leaves are gigantic!!!!! Unless that cabinet is just really tiny and I'm not seeing it right but they look fucking HUGE!

I never bought or used grow bags before and I thought i would give them a try. I like pots now that I see the difference.Tying down was as simple as poking a hole in top of the pot. I suppose if I bought the more durable reusable bags I wouldn't have as many complaints, but I think I'm sticking with the ol reliable after this. I could have avoided this problem all together if I didn't lag on transplanting and started 12/12 a week sooner. Oh well.

Look at the size of the stem in that first picture!! The leaves as well. Is that a monster in your closet or is it just happy to see us?

I've always used pots and will continue to do so. Those plastic grow bags are garbage, but I was in a hurry and that's what happened.
