You will cut a over sized leaf? That early in veg? But why? Do you need light to get to your soil?
And are you assuming that your leaf grew so big because you forgot to water? Not sure if you do the whole English thing so well but that's how I translated it..
And if that's the case that makes no sense. Plants don't grow because you forget to water them
