Plant growing sideways...

No problem. To tell you the truth the s-cropping didn't work so well with me. The lst all I did was tie down the top of a eight inch tall plant and let the lower growth catch up. I think I got lucky but the lowest branch turned into a main stalk and I ended up with almost like two in one.
Noted. I think I might wait a bit till the plant gets a bit taller before I start tying it... 8 inches seems pretty reasonable :weed:

From my understanding it is used to promote lower growth/create many top colas without topping. The pics I've seen you can kind of spread out your tops and keep them level therefore allowing you to get your lights closer. It takes longer than the basic "topping" techniques because they don't like to grow when tied down but then explode in growth when released for a few days. Another one to reserch is supercroping. Slightly damage stems and when they fix themselves they can support more weight and can move more water. Both techniques can produce hermies if stress is to great. Trail and error I guess
neither one of those can turn a plant hermie, light stress, genetics, and the various chemicals that you apply to female plants to make fem seeds are the only things that can make your plant hermie.

lst is super easy, you just tie down the top so its no longer the highest point on the plant(thats where the auxins are that trigger it being the main growth point. tying it down spreads that out over all the other tops of about the same height).
