Hi can you tell me what strain of plant i am trying to grow.

Looks like a Sativa but impossible to tell what exact strain it is.

Clearly a sativa, but you can't tell more than that. Some seed companies have terpene charts for individual strains, so if you can somehow identify the different aromas of the buds, you could see to what strain it is closest related.

Looks like you got some bug problems around there. Heard that spreading ash (from your ash tray) around the pot will keep insects away. You might want to give it a go, definitely can't hurt.
